Hi, My name is Chris and I work at Help.com. One of our site members sent me a question that asked:

"What type of foam can I use for my pond that will not harm my koi? I have a total of 10,000 gals of pond in my backyard which is home to koi, turtles and frogs. I do not like looking at the liner and want to place stones along the interior walls. They will need to be kept in place with something and I have heard that you can purchase foam that will glue them in place. The foam cannot be harmful to the koi, turtles and frogs."

I am also new and learning....Sept we got a 1000 gallon pond and waterfall..then the fish. We have now 1 Koi, 1 Goldfish, 2 Orandas, and 2 Shubunkins. I love them all, but the Orandas have taken first place. The Koi is growing like a weed. I heat the pond now at 58 degrees and they all are great and lively..Your pond looks great...have fun.
